Vains Of Jenna will be in Salt Lake Friday December 11th w/ Corvid & Heartbreak Hangover. VOJ 1st played Utah in 07 w/ Posion & Ratt at Usana Amphitheater, then again in 08 at Saltair for the Viva La Bands tour w/ Cradle of Filth & Gwar. Next, they will play with us & Hearkbreak Hangover at the Abyss. Were into VOJ, so it will be fun to play a gig with them.

Good god, there was a fuck load of people at the Nitzer Ebb gig last night. They played a awesome set. It's the last Tragic Black gig for a while. We're going to write new stuff now.

I love music. New music is always a great thing, if you were to recommend a band (or bands) you love from the present or past, what band would that be?

The Skinny Puppy show at Club Vegas last Friday was amazing, seriously.  Check out Amy Spencer's review if you need proof.  It was a very theatrical show, something Skinny Puppy does best.  I will always love and be inspired by this band.

Their set list included (thanks to Amy Spencer for posting the set list in her article): Love in Vein, HateKILL, Addiction, Deadlines, Tormentor, Morpheus Laughing, Rodent, Dogshit, Politikil, Pedafly, Pro-test, Ugli, Assimilate, Warlock & Far Too Frail.               It kicked ass.

After the gig I was hanging around and ended up meeting Ogre.  He was a really nice person.  I told him how cool it was to see them in a smaller venue and how I love their music   It was a nice cionversation and he told me I looked like a bad ass. What a compliment?  Here's a pic of us together:

I'm very proud that Redemption is opening for Skinny Puppy, I will be there as I already bought a ticket, but yeah, Redemption.. Kick so major ass :-)

Damn, I can't wait for Halloween.  It's going to really kick ass this year.  I'm so happy Corvid gets to open for The Genitorturers, this will be our biggest show to date, woot!  Come out to Club Vegas on Halloween:

New York City based industrial rockers SLICK IDIOT  (featuring former members  of KMFDM and Pigface, Günter Schulz and En Esch)  hit Salt Lake City for their "In The Flesh Tour," tonight, Monday Oct 26th @ The Urban Lounge.  This comes right after KMFDM canceled their SLC show, which was scheduled for October 17th.   Get your boots on, come out tonight and stomp it up.

Oh and Tragic Black will open, too.

Club Edge is now having live bands on Fridays and TB is booked to play two Fridays from today.  The place is amazing for live shows, I've seen one band there so far and it was great.  We are going to play a handful of new songs coming up for our next album.  This is going great, you guys gotta come out.
